Hi, I’m Mavin Buranasilp, a senior student majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. I enjoy drawing and painting but I technically don’t have that much experience. I prefer working on acrylics since I am living at my home in Thailand and don’t want to mess up my mother’s sink.
At this moment, you are probably confused that how I enjoy drawing and painting because my majors are not even close to Art. Basically, I would say I love both Art and Mathematic since I was young but at that moment, I decided to keep walking along with Mathematics and keep Art as a relaxing hobby. I started drawing again since Fall2019 to find inspirations after being in a world of Math and Computer for a long time. This semester is going to be a good opportunity to explore the world of painting and that’s very exciting to discover.
There are alot of artists that combine math and art. Look up Matthew Ritchie’s work. Glad to have you in our class.
